TOUR TO DENDARA & ABYDOS TEMPLES FROM LUXOR

At 7:00 am Pickup from your Hotel in Luxor by mandy Tours Tour guide, a drive to the Temple of Hathor goddess of motherhood at Dendara for some archeologists it’s the best preserved in Egypt with amazing colors still visible on its walls.

The temple is located in Dendara which is situated 65 km to the north of Luxor then you will be transferred by Private A/C Vehicle to Abydos city

Abydos Temple is dedicated to the Ancient Egyptian god of the underworld osiris .

Arriving to Abydos discovering the temple where it’s believed to be the burial place of the head of osiris , the spot which was considered to be the holiest place of ancient egypt ever, where we still have one of the sources of the ancient egyptian history (the kings list of Abydos).

The area was the grave yard of the kings of the first two dynastys about 3100 bc, it was considered to be the holiest spot of egypt.

The temple was built by seti the first accomplished by his son ramses the great.

You can have lunch at Abydos if you like .

at the end of the Tour transfer back to the hotel in Luxor .
